On Saturday, January 23rd, Magdalen College students participated in a Pro-Life Day. In lieu of the college’s annual trip to the March for Life, students gathered to spend much of the day praying for and considering the tragedy of abortion. The day was coordinated by the college’s pro-life club, Spes Vitae.

The day began with prayer outside of the local abortion clinic in Concord, New Hampshire. Students braved the cold praying the rosary. Their intentions included the unborn, those who are healing from past abortions, and the conversion of all who currently perform abortions.

After returning to campus and warming up, students participated in a Socratic seminar on the Dignity of Human Life. The seminar was led by Magdalen College faculty member, John Klucinec.

The Knights of Columbus Student Council led a Holy Hour with rosary in the campus chapel. The day concluded with a showing of the movie Bella.
