Northeast Catholic College is pleased to announce that it has released its 2017-18 Arts of the Beautiful schedule. The Arts of the Beautiful program was established in 2015, designed to offer students the opportunity to explore the visual and musical arts both in practice and in theory.
This year’s schedule includes trips to see Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, Mozart’s Requiem, and Beethoven’s Fidelio as well as visits to the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts and many other trips. Transportation to all events is provided for free to NCC students.
Participants in the Arts of the Beautiful program will also have the opportunity to study chant, polyphony, and sacred hymnody in the collegiate choir as well as aesthetics and the philosophy of art in the classroom.
