We know that this is a challenging time for many people and especially for seniors in high school who are still making their enrollment decisions. During this difficult period, Magdalen College faculty and staff will continue to provide our prospective students with every opportunity possible to learn more about what Magdalen offers and to engage directly with our campus life, culture, and the members of our collegiate community. To do this, we invite you to register for one of the many new virtual options we have created. Though we have all been asked to keep our distance, we can still be sure not to let anything keep us apart.

Live Q&A with Magdalen College’s Director of Admissions
April 16, 2020
Prospective students and their parents are invited to join us for a live Q&A with Laura Loroña-Kays, Director of Admissions. As both a member of Magdalen College’s staff and a parent of one of the college’s sophomores, Mrs. Loroña-Kays will share her unique insights–from the perspective of a parent–into the integral education that Magdalen offers. Parents will be able to ask her not only about our application process, scholarships, and other financial aid options, but also about her experience as the parent of a Magdalen student.

April 23, 2020
(subject to change based on weather)

Via webcam, Ms. Houle will take you on an interactive campus tour to see the highlights of our beautiful, 135-acre campus in New Hampshire, located on Mount Kearsarge. Enjoy spring in New Hampshire as she gives you a guided tour of the grounds, chapel, academic buildings, and residences.
Meet Our Students Live
April 30, 2020
What better way to experience what life is like at Magdalen College than by meeting and conversing with her students? Learn what it’s like to live, study, and travel as a community as our students learn from some of the most distinguished minds in Catholic education today. Enjoy hearing stories about their experiences in and beyond the classroom, including their adventures off campus, personal academic projects, and plans for the future now that they are already in the midst of their Magdalen journey.
Live Online Conversation with President Harne
May 7, 2020
Applicants to Magdalen College and their families have enjoyed the tradition of meeting the college’s president at their schools, in their homes, and in their parishes, usually in a seminar devoted to one of the great books. Now everyone will have the chance to meet Dr. Harne, ask questions about the college, and learn more about the inspirational vision of academic, spiritual, and social life on Mount Kearsarge. You won’t want to miss this opportunity.
Meet Our Faculty Live
May 21, 2020
Magdalen students are blessed to read and discuss the greatest books with a stellar faculty of national reputation who have studied at the top universities in the nation and the world. And they have chosen to teach at Magdalen because they love the students, the curriculum, and the mission. So take away the “first day of school” jitters by meeting and engaging with a panel of some of our professors. Learn about their journeys from being students to becoming teachers and scholars, why they love to teach–including their favorite books and subjects–and ask them about their own experiences at Magdalen. This is another opportunity you won’t want to miss.
Magdalen college will continue to offer individual on-campus visits according to New Hampshire’s guidelines. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact Marci Houle at [email protected] or (603) 456-4113.
Transportation to Manchester Regional Airport and Concord Coach Lines Bus Station will be provided free of charge. Families will need to coordinate the details of their student’s arrival with the admissions office at [email protected].edu or 603-456-2656.
The Admissions Staff travels often and hopes we will all be able to meet soon at an upcoming homeschooling conference or school event in your area. Send us an email to receive information on our upcoming Admissions Fairs or request a visit to you area by contacting us at [email protected].
