Magdalen College of the Liberal Arts has degree-granting authority for the Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Higher Education Division of the New Hampshire Department of Education.
Magdalen College of the Liberal Arts is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (formerly the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc.). The College is currently on probation with regard to the Commission’s Standard on Institutional Resources, which focuses on ensuring resources to sustain the educational program and support institutional improvement. This status is for a period not to exceed four years. During this time, Magdalen College remains accredited and eligible for federal funding, including student aid. The Commission will monitor the institution’s progress to bring itself back into compliance with the Standard through a Spring 2023 evaluation.
