Saint Mother Theresa remarked that “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

On February 9, 2019, members of the collegiate choir recalled this quotation when they traveled two and a half hours to sing for the Little Sisters of the Poor’s annual Rock-a-thon (rocking chair-a-thon).  The students sang hymns to help participants pass the time while they rocked. Jennifer Kerstiens ‘22 remarked, “We’re doing so little but I feel like it gives them so much joy.”

When asked why he sacrificed his Saturday to sing for the event, Mark Stolarski ’22 noted that it was an opportunity to do an act of service.  Later, he commented, “Since we have these talents, why not use them for other people’s enjoyment?”
